“ A MUST eat at Airlie Beach, yes yes lots of fancy restaurants with tapas BUT the hot dogs and chips + gravy are to die for. The buns almost taste like the Woolies dinner rolls, amazing, fluffy and incredible. All the choices of toppings are fun and exciting and will please anyone with you. The service is great and quick. You can either grab a seat inside the vintage theme seating area or walk around the corner and you are at the water. ”

My partner and I were seeking a good feed on a Tuesday night during our visit to Airlie Beach from Brisbane, and we got it along with the amazing value! Loved the culturally inspired menu so we got an Aussie and an Argentinian to reflect him and I. Honestly, two of the best dogs we’ve ever had. Both different and simple but equally delish and fresh! Nothing like a regular hot dog so I felt compelled to write about it! Keep doing what you’re doing! A local staple for sure! ”

“ Absolutely Fantastic – A Must-Visit in Airlie Beach! Dickie’s Dogs totally blew us away! From the moment we walked in, we felt welcome thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff – Kathy and Steve were absolutely lovely. They went above and beyond to make us feel at home and even made a custom order without hesitation. You can tell they really care about their customers. The food? Incredible! The hot dogs were huge and packed with flavour. And the chips – wow! They’re just like proper Belgian fries: golden and crisp on the outside, beautifully soft inside. Hands down some of the best fries I’ve had in Australia. The vibe of the place is awesome too – it’s got that retro Miami Vice energy, with a cool, laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to hang out and enjoy every bite. It’s fun, it’s different, and it fits perfectly with the Airlie Beach scene. If you’re in Airlie and craving a satisfying, tasty, casual meal with amazing service – this is the spot.
